Since 1977, the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) has raised more than $200 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children's Hospital, a leader in the fight to conquer childhood cancer.

More than 16,500 students will unite February 17-19, 2023, at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center for a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. THON's incredible year-long efforts support Four Diamonds' mission to conquer childhood cancer by supporting world-class care and life-saving research.

Each September, families, caregivers, researchers and charities around the world unite in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. A Presidential Proclamation recognizing National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month was first issued by President Barack Obama in September 2012.
