I hope that you all had a great Christmas. From what I have seen so far this year, you have all been very good Lions and I hope Santa has treated you well. I hope you all were able to spend time with family and friends. I would like to say thanks to all of you who have provided service to your communities this past month. Whether you were ringing the Salvation Army Bell, packing lunches, assisting with the Food Bank, assisting with Meals On Wheels, delivering Holiday Food baskets, Christmas Caroling at the Nursing Homes or assisting with the Toys for Tots Program, all of your time was very much appreciated and valued by all. Job Well Done Lions!!
Remember, where there is a need, there is a Lion! Continue to provide service to your communities, and also continue to work together with other clubs and partner with other groups to provide for the needs in your towns.
Also remember to report your service activities in your MMR reports as well as to MyLIon. If you are still having issues accessing MyLion, please reach out to your Zone Chairperson, Service Chair-Lance Remic or the District Administrator-Denise Poole for assistance as it is important to report all of your activities to LCI.
And now, here we are preparing for a new year already! The time is going by so fast and it is hard to believe that half of the Lions year is gone. Again, I would like to thank you all for all of your continued support so far in my year as your 1VDG. I have enjoyed visiting your clubs, meeting new lions and talking with old friends. For the clubs I have not had the pleasure of visiting with yet, I am looking forward to meeting with you in the upcoming months. I am looking forward to serving as your DG and I know the time will be here before we know it.
With the new year of 2020 upon us, please remember we Lions cannot be heard if we are not seen, so get out into your communities and get involved.... and let's all open up for new ideas!!
Happy New Year to all.
Yours in Lionism,
